Vision & Mission

Utsav’s vision is to become the premier non-profit organization in Germany dedicated to celebrating, preserving, and promoting Indian culture, festivals, religion, and community values. Utsav’s mission is to foster intercultural understanding and create a vibrant, inclusive community where Indian traditions flourish, and the community feels at home with its beautiful traditions and values.

How will we achieve this?

• Utsav will celebrate the diverse traditions, festivals, and cultural practices of India with authenticity, ensuring that they are practiced, remembered, and cherished by future generations.
• Utsav will provide a platform to empower individuals to actively engage in cultural practices and build a strong community where every member feels connected and valued.
• Utsav envisions building a community center (mandir) — a special place of worship —to engage in and practice rich Indian traditions. It will be the center for:
  • Community building
  • Providing necessary resources to the community
  • Cultural and diversity exchange
  • Educational and health exchange
  • A platform for religious practices and dialogue
  • Community support and social work
